Description:In order to highlight the dynamism of contemporary Spanish olive oil and the quality of olive oils produced in Spain which can be found in the American market, two cocktails/presentations will take place in Seattle on November 16 and in Chicago on November 18. These events are addressed to the press, importers, renowned local chefs and a selection of quality retail stores. The idea is to raise the appreciation, knowledge and prestige of the Spanish olive oil with a promotional event similar to what is done in the wine world.
The event takes place in a prestigious restaurant in each city, with the collaboration of a manufacturer or producer of Spanish olive oil as a spokesperson, along with a popular local chef. During the event cocktails will be served, along olive oil tastings (picual, hojiblanca, Arbequina), followed by a tasting that illustrates the value and distinctive flavor of native Spanish varietal olive oil.
