Abertis renews its presence in the Dow Jones sustainability index.

Abertis has renewed its fourth consecutive year presence in the global Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) World, and in the European DJSI Stoxx, as reported by at a group statement. The Spanish infrastructure company has scored above average in all three analyzed sectors, economic, environmental and social.

For the 2009 review, the DJSI World, which represents 10 per cent of companies with best corporate sustainability criteria in the world, invited 2,500 companies, of which finally 317 were selected, representing 15 percent of the global capitalization of each of its sectors of activity.
