Report on the steel sector. Exports by the Spanish steel sector exceeded €6.596 billion in 2006, an increase of 70.81% compared to 2003. Spain primarily exports to countries in the EU-15 and within this group its principal trading partners are France, Italy, Germany, Portugal and the United Kingdom.
